to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry of the 1st Cavalry Division
Airmobile roster from 1965 to 1972 for HQ Company.
This is a Vietnam veteran's project whose mission is to identify and
contact all troopers who served with the battalion during the Vietnam
War. Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the battalion's
deployment to the Republic of South Vietnam.
Our goal is to survey the interest in a reunion to mark the anniversary
of the battalions deployment. The proposed reunion date is August,
2006. The proposed location is Fort Benning, Georgia.
